Installation
- From your order confirmation email or the My Account/Downloads section on the Apex Racing Academy website select the SDK Gaming Setup & Data Sync Software link to download the software.
- Once the setup.exe file has downloaded, click on it to run the installer.
- When prompted by Windows Defender, select More info and then Run anyway.
- The installer will now contact the SDK Gaming server and download the required files. Accept the installation warning.
- The application will now install and run for the first time. You will receive another Windows Defender pop up again confirming you are happy for the program to run.
- The SDK Gaming Setup Sync App is now running in your system tray.
- Jump into an iRacing session and sit in the car to allow the Setup Sync App to authenticate your iRacing account. Your setups and other data will now automatically download whenever they are added to the file store by your coach.
Using the Setup Sync App you can easily browse and compare your setups. Highlighting two or more files will allow you to compare them and show you the differences. This is an easy way to find setup parameters and adjust your sets in the sim without having to load up existing sets, screenshotting them and then adding the tweaks to the set you are currently working on!
